I had no plan in place, but just started work again on my 3 paintings and it worked out that doing some on each one worked out perfectly. I started with the roses on the left. I put in the background and decided it would be easier to render the flowers if the paint had overnight to dry. I then moved on to the landscape on the left. It's a scene from a pumpkin farm and I worked on it till it started giving me trouble and happily went on the the seascape which is coming along nicely. I'm still working with my limited palette of red, blue, yellow and white but switched out my blue and red to slightly different shades and I find I'm having a bit of trouble getting a good gray, but I'll keep at it.
I'm an fine art artist in Raleigh, North Carolina. I need a paintbrush in my hand to feel complete and I invite you to follow me on my art journey. Everyday brings new ideas and projects... there simply is not enough time... On December 1, 2012, I joined the community of artists who paint a painting each and every day. I haven't been able to keep up with the daily painting, but I'm trying hard to keep my paintbrushes busy.
